Smart Word Tools (“this site”) is a small independent website with free word-game tools. This page explains what information may be collected when you visit, and how ads work here.

What this site does with your input
When you use a tool (for example typing letters into the unscrambler), that input is processed so the page can show word results. We do not ask you to create an account. We do not ask for your name to use the tools.
Do not paste passwords, private messages, or other personal secrets into tool fields. Those fields are for letter racks, patterns, and similar puzzle input.
Cookies and similar technology
This site may use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Basic site function and remembering simple preferences
- Understanding traffic in aggregate (which pages get used)
- Showing ads through Google AdSense and related Google advertising services

Opting out does not mean you will see no ads. You may still see ads that are not based on your interests, or ads based on the page you’re viewing.
Analytics and logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider or server may keep standard access logs (for example IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps). Those logs are used for security, debugging, and rough traffic measurement. If a separate analytics tool is added later, this policy will be updated.
Contact form and email
If you email team@smartwordtools.com, we receive whatever you include in that message (your email address, and any details you write). That information is used only to reply and to handle the request. It isn’t sold.
Children’s privacy
This site is a general-audience word-game toolkit. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact team@smartwordtools.com and we’ll delete it when we can identify it.
Third-party links
Tool results may link out to dictionaries or other sites (for example Merriam-Webster). Those sites have their own privacy practices. This policy only covers Smart Word Tools.
Data retention
Emails you send are kept as long as needed to respond and keep a basic record of the conversation. Server logs are kept according to the host’s normal rotation. Ad-related data is handled by Google under its own policies.
Your choices
- Use browser controls to block or delete cookies
- Use Google Ads Settings and industry opt-out pages for personalized ads
- Email team@smartwordtools.com for privacy questions or to ask about information you sent us by email
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after an update means the new policy applies to later visits.
