These terms cover your use of Smart Word Tools (the “site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.
What the site offers
The site provides free browser-based helpers for word games and related puzzles, plus informational articles. Results are suggestions based on word lists and filters. They are not a guarantee that a word is legal in your club, app, dictionary edition, or house rules.
No account required
You can use the tools without creating an account. If account features are added later, extra terms may apply to those features.
Acceptable use
You’re welcome to use the tools for personal play, study, teaching, and similar ordinary purposes.
Please don’t:
- Try to break, overload, or scrape the site in a way that harms availability for others
- Use automated bulk requests beyond normal browsing without permission
- Attempt to access admin areas or other users’ private data
- Use the site to harass people or to break the law
We may temporarily or permanently block access if abuse is clear.
Accuracy and game rules
Word lists differ. TWL06, Collins/SOWPODS, Wordle’s lists, Wordfeud language packs, and crossword dictionaries are not the same thing. A word that appears in results might be rejected by your game. A word missing from results might still be allowed somewhere else.
You’re responsible for checking the rules of the game you’re playing. The site is not liable for lost games, club challenges, tournament results, or similar outcomes.

Ads may appear on the site, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads help keep the tools free. See the Privacy Policy for cookies and opt-out options.
Intellectual property
Site design, original articles, and original explanatory copy on Smart Word Tools belong to the site operator unless otherwise noted. You’re free to link to pages. Don’t copy whole articles wholesale for republication without permission.
Game names and trademarks (Scrabble, Wordle, Quordle, Wordfeud, Boggle, and others) belong to their owners. Mentions on this site are for identification only. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by those trademark owners.
Dictionary data and third-party lookups are subject to their own licenses and terms.

Disclaimer
